163 Subscribers In 10 Days Using JV Giveaways

10

When I started Alex Jeffreys coaching program, the second module we had was all about setting up our "Profit Pulling Platform". The platform consisted of:

  • A squeeze page where we give away Alex's ebook "List Building With Alex" and capture leads.
  • A download page with a built in up sell to make a little cash with the $47 dollar videos

If you followed the instructions on Alex's website, it said that the first thing you should do is download the ebook and read it cover to cover. If you read it cover to cover you found out that Alex began his list building career using JV Giveaways.

I have added 163 new subscribers to my list this year by contributing to JV Giveaways. Since we set up our profit pulling platform in December, I have added 245 subscribers using "List Building With Alex". I added another 83 using a PLR product that I have that accounts for half of the subscribers added in 2009 (the 163).

The problem I am seeing is that other Alex Jeffreys students are also joining the giveaways. A lot of the events will permit duplicate products. I saw at least 6 different people giving away Alex's ebook in the same event. This was seriously diluting my results. So, I pulled out one of the many PLR products that I have shelved on my hard drive.

I have had several other students bring this same issue to my attention and someone mentioned it last night on the coaching call. Alex Jefferys response was to create your own free report and use it in the JV Giveaways. I am in fact working on an ebook myself but I thought that I would come up with something that everyone could start using immediately.

I have put together a package of 6 2008 PLR products that are all targeted to the Web 2.0 niche. Web 2.0 is hot and you will get results. One of these is the very same product that earned me half of those 163 sign ups this month. All 6 come with sales pages and graphics. I am also going to let you have total private label rights so you can do what ever you want with them.

You can re-write them , change the graphics, sell them , or give them away (hint, hint, nudge, nudge)

The good news is that I am not going to charge you a dime but I am going to ask you for a favor. It will take about 5 minutes of your time and that is only if you don't already have an account at Digg.com. To get PLR products that you can use to participate in JV Giveaways, go to http://jtmartin.net/freegift.html and follow the simple directions. When you are done you will be taken to the download page.

For those of you who are still struggling with this, I will post a series of videos that will take you step by step and show yo how to take one of these PLR products and turn it into a list building machine. I'll post the first video tomorrow so go ahead and click on the link and down load your free gifts. Then we'll get started on setting everything up.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The other day I got my hands on some good information about JV giveaways and some software that will help you keep all of your submissions organized. I am working on getting that ready for everyone. Hopefully by the middle of the week.

Hi JT,

Another nice article here about using giveaways. You have a bunch of very informative posts here. Great to see your progress and how you are providing such value here.

PS, can you do me a favor. Change the url link you have listed for me to my marketing blog url, it's more appropriate for this project. I'm not sure how my personal growth blog started getting passed around.
Please use http://makeinternetmarketingmoney.com

Thanks,
John

Hey JT,

Great job on getting 163 optins already by using JV Giveaways.

I haven't done one yet but I'm all set up with my quick folder that Alex told us to use.

By the way, that was me that brought it up in the last coaching session about multiple submissions of the same product.

I do have other products I can use if I run into duplicate products. I don't want to share all the optins for the same product so I'll just use another one as you mentioned here.

Maybe I'll use one of your plr products you mention here but I haven't checked it out yet but I will.

Later JT,
Jeff Sargent

Hey JT,

Great post! I understand what you're saying in regards to needing more original products to use as for JV Giveaways. I have been meaning to create my own product for a while now, just need to get better with managing my time I think ;-)

So, with that, I'm off to download your products now, and look forward to checking out the software you've found to keep my submissions organised :-)

Cheers,

Ann Marie Dennis

Hey JT,

thought I better let you know, I went to your page, followed the instructions and clicked to grab your products, however the page that showed up is showing this
404 Error: Not Found!

Could you get back to me on this? Cheers ;-)

Annie

Hey JT,

I just had the same problem as Anne Marie. I went and Dugg your story then went back and entered my Digg username and clicked submit and got 404 Error: Not Found! I don't know if it just takes some time for this to happen or what but I did all this in a couple minutes.

I'll check back later.

Hi JT,

Well that post just made my jaw drop… I am so jealous!!! And so excited at the same time at the potential that an internet marketing biz gives you. WOW!! So can i ask how have you found the whole process of building your biz??

I am still wet behind the ears with all this, having only started building my biz about a week and a half ago but i feel i am doing quite well. I have just this week got my blog hosted on my own domain name and feel things are really starting to take shape now. Your poast is quite timely as i feel i am upto the stage of getting traffic to my blog.

If it is not too much to ask could you check out my blog and provide me with some critism of my blog on how i could maybe improve it or what i could add to it.

Look forward to hearing from you and reading more of your posts. Best of luck for 2009.

Asha Walter

Hi JT, read your article with much interest.I have been giving a lot of thought to free giveaways, I know this is what I should be doing, but I always seem to run out of hours. Not that I am spending many in sleep – far from it. I know I will just have to bite the bullet and get started.
Regarding videos, this is an area that interests me a lot. I am having a go and having some success, but as far as traffic driving is concerned, time will tell. Pop on over to my site if you get the time.

Hi JT, my apologies but when I posted my comment above, I neglected to change my url to http:// only. I really would appreciate your visiting my site to see my latest post as it concerns a poll about Alex. Thanks in anticipation.
Paull
