Hey JT
Thanks very much for the great comment you left on my blog very useful, hey is it okay to add me to your blogroll and can I add you to mine?
speak soon
marcus
Hi Marcus,
I am doing an experiment right now and have removed my blogroll from most of the pages. I am trying to boost my Google page rank to 3. I am currently at 2.
I have a large number of outgoing links and even though most are "no-follow" I am trying a few things to see if they make a difference. Google only updates there page rankings every few months so I need to make the changes for some time.
I am probably going to set up a page for the blog roll. I am also going to remove a lot of the links from my sidebar. This may take a while because I have other priorities.
I will add you to my blogroll when I get it set back up.
JT
I wish Alex had implemented the payment plan from the get go, I signed up as soon as I got is early bird email. Either way glad I'm in the class.
If I'm not mistaken, you like to Tweet quotes, JT
Hi Rob,
Yes I do Tweet quotes. I am actually doing a little experiment. I spent a couple weeks using random quotes. I saved the ones that people re-tweeted alot into a text file.
When I had about 10 good ones, I set them up in Tweet Elite Pro to auto tweet every 6 hours or so. (I experimented with the times too) The result was a dramatic increase in traffic to my blog.
After a couple days I changed the quotes. Right now I am using a couple of Alex's favorites. I also will blip music sometimes. I try to do a thing I call mandatory Marley. At 9pm EST I tweet 3 Bob Marley songs.
I don't always get to do it but I am fairly consistent. I actually get people sending me requests for Bob Marley songs now. Pretty cool. Just one of the ways you can use social media.
Very nice. I've never managed to think of a use for timed Tweets, limited imagination I guess. Thanks for the tip will have to give it a go.
Hi JT,
Great tip about the automated Tweets. I'll have to look into Tweet Elite Pro. I am not keen on any auto following stuff as that is eventually going to get you banned by Twitter but the auto tweeting sounds like a real timesaver.
Mandatory Marley sounds cool. If I remember, I do a "Friday Night Drinking" tweet where I ask what everyone is drinking tonight. Usually gets a decent response.
I will be monitoring what you do on Twitter with great interest as you seem to really know your stuff.
Keep in touch.
David
Hi Dave,
Thanks for stopping by. Just so you know, Jay Benoit, the creator of Tweet Elite Pro, worked hand in hand with the developers at Twitter when he was creating the software.
Tweet Elite Pro has been 100% white listed with Twitter. You will not get your account banned unless you use the software to spam everyone. The auto follow feature was set up to conform to Twitter's guidelines.
I would not risk my account of over 22,000 followers, which Tweet Elite Pro built for me in less than 4 months.
Did you get a chance to read the ebook yet? My goal is to get my giveaway set up this weekend. Hopefully, I'll announce the launch date Monday.
