Thanks for letting us know about this little "problem" that Firefox can cause. I have a question: when you use the "Raw HTML Version" of the opt-in form, do you need to change anything in the HTML or will just using it do the trick? I'm not an HTML whiz, by any means, so I hope I don't have to do anything to it.

Thanks again for the tip!

Hi JT,

Came across this and promptly disabled AdBlock which I use often as I get fed up with things whizzing up and down, in and out :).

Thanks for the advice!

I notice that on the AdBlock options that there is a line saying "Disable on JT Martin.net".

How did you do that?

Anyway, thanks again - every little helps with this list building.

JT

Thanks for the info, wasn't aware of the issues until I read this so will have to double check compatability issues with Firefox.
All the best

JT,
Thanks for the headsup on this. I had heard to not use the java script version, but I had never known why. -Norene

Hey JT,

I wasn't aware of this potential problem when using the Javascript Snippet. That's just what we need is another unknown way to lose subscribers. As if it's not hard enough already to get them.

Fortunately for me I've always used Aweber's Raw HTML Version because I like to use custom made optin forms that I design in Photoshop as it gives me more flexibility.

Thanks for the tip JT. Now that you've made me aware of this I will definitely never use the JavaScript Snippet.
