Starting Fresh, Gonna Build An Online Business.
I have been attempting to make money online for 4 years now. While I am not like some that have tried and tried and still haven't made my first dollar online, my results have not been what I expected or have desired.
I went to my first offline event at the end of last year and have been to several since. I have met some of the big name gurus face to face and had a few opportunities to talk with them a little. The one common theme that people like Keith Wellman and Bob "the teacher" Jenkins, among others, told me was that I needed to get a mentor.
This sounded like great advice until I found out how much money that was going to cost me. Most coaching programs where you actually have one on one interaction with a guru will run you about $5000 or so.
Needless to say, I didn't see this happening anytime soon.
I got started trying to make money online because of my involvement with an MLM program that I had some success with. I found that leads captured online through a series of squeeze pages were very targeted and converted well once I contacted them on the telephone. I got to were I was making almost $1000 a month with the program.
The problem was that I didn't like spending hours on the phone every night only to have my members drop out of the program after a month or two. I decided that affiliate marketing price levitra online looked like it could be easily automated and that I would give it a try.
Well last year I made about $2700 on clickbank and about $500 with some other various things I tried like CPA offers. buy generic levitra This year I have not done as well, but I have not put as much effort into it either. I did not start this venture so that I could work more hours than I already do.
The idea is to spend more time with the family and doing the things I love like playing golf, fishing, and scuba diving. It also means quitting my full time job. I have a great job that I really like working on automated welding equipment and it pays well.
But…the life style I want for my family and myself does not include going to a nine to five every day and hoping to save up enough money for a decent retirement and to be able to take a yearly vacation for a week.
So I broke down and joined Alex Jeffries coaching program. Alex is a protege of Mike Filsaime's who has built an online business and in a few years time is pulling down about 20k per month. Since Alex is still ampicillin online building a name for himself and this is his first attempt at mentoring, I was able to join his coaching program for a mere $500.
The first "module" was this past Tuesday and so far I am impressed.
The lesson centered around planning and organization. I was given a lengthy home work list to complete by next class, which is December 2nd. Some of the assignments included setting personal, business, and entrepreneurial goals, and coming up with a one year plan that was broken down into monthly and weekly plans as well.
There was also quite a discussion about being productive. Not what I invisioned when I signed up but after completing most of the assignments, I definitely see the value Order Generic Levitra Professional Online without Prescription and how it is going to have a very positive effect on my results for the upcoming year.
After all, I am beginning to build a business now. Not just doing a little internet marketing.
I think that there are a lot of people out there that are in the same boat. Spending hours and hours being busy but not really accomplishing anything. Working their butts off with no results.
Leave a comment and let me know what your experience has been. People would like to know.
I can't wait until Tuesday's session.
Building an online business while enjoying the finer things in life: family, friends, golf, guitar, fishing, nature, and a good game of chess.

Hi JT Martin,
Thanks for adding me to your blogroll, I will add you as well right away. As for the Alex Jeffreys coaching, I think its great. It is really teaching me how to build a business, instead of being on my computer "like a busy fool" as Alex had put it. I've tried my hand over the last few months at affiliate marketing, but I know from my research that the money is in the list, so this is were I'm at right now, and what a good place that is. Time to promote our squeeze pages like crazy. Can't wait to here his ideas on this and the whole module 3 also.
