Let The List Building Begin

2

Last night was module 2 of Alex Jeffreys coaching program although I started working on it at lunch time. I went to the members area when I was on my lunch break and saw that the links to our "profit pulling platform" were live. I immediately downloaded everything and got started.

Alex has provided us with an ebook that we can give away for free to help us build a list. (you can get a copy for yourself by clicking on the picture in the right hand column) He also gave us a ready made squeeze page, a download page, and an awesome product to use as an upsell.

There were step by step video instructions on how to set up every aspect of this system starting with getting a domain name, and including things like setting up your auto responder, setting up your paypal buttons, and uploading your files to the server.

If I was a complete newbie, I am sure that I could have gone through the whole process with out a hitch. My hats off to you Alex for a job well done. Seeing as how I have done this on quite a few occasions with PLR products, I breezed right through it and had my list building system in place within an hour.

I am anxious to see how well the squeeze page performs. I have sent a little traffic to it last night but haven't checked my  stats yet this morning. I'm up at 3am because I wanted to make this post and sent an email out to my list before I went to work. It's also my day to work out in the morning before I go to work. (I'm on a serious weight loss program)

I am very pleased with Alex Jeffreys coaching program so far and we have only had 2 classes. Alex has really gone out of his way to over deliver and I can already say that this is the best $500 I have ever spent. I have my entire business plan mapped out of the next year. I have several projects that I have been working on that I never seem to be able to finish.

What I have learned from Alex as enabled me to put together a working game plan with a time line that will keep me focused and let me finish these projects. I have everything pretty much on hold right now so I can concentrate all of my efforts on the coaching program but I have my other projects "mind mapped" out and will be ready to attack once I finish all of the modules.

Step 1 of the instructions was to download the ebook and read it. In the ebook it talks about using JV giveaways to build your list. I have done this before but never really had an exceptional product to give away. Last night after class, I went ahead and signed up for some giveaways and used the ebook as my gift. I also updated a site I have where you can list all the JV Giveaways that are going on and have all the links together.

I am building a list of links to my classmates to the right. Take a little time to check out there blogs and there online marketing journey. This is going to be a lot of fun as well as a learning experience. It's going to take me a while to add everybody so be patient. I will make sure I at least ad a hand full everyday.

Hey JT;

A theme I'm familiar with :)

Semiologic does indeed rock. It may be simple looking but the plugins are awesome. I have 30+ blogs using it and they all get indexed really well. I may have to get some help from u tho' as have been only using it for about 6 weeks.

I'll email later on re: web 2.0 and long tail. I have a new keyword research tool that kinda fits with Alex's "forward to basics" – be cool if you could check it out and give me some feedback.

Inabit,
Austin.
