List Building

I have been using JV Giveaways to build my list ever since I first downloaded the Profit Pulling Platform that Alex Jeffreys gave all his students back in December of 2008. The ebook that came with it, "List Building With Alex", is all about how Alex used JV Giveaways to build his list when he first started out.

I have been using giveaways ever since and added 2000 subscribers to my list since then. There have been a few developements on the JV Giveaway scene that have caused more and more people to use JV Giveaways. There are also a lot of people who are hosting there own giveaways then before.

That is good news for me and you because we have more list building opportunities. I myself am going to host my own giveaway the end of this month and also have one in the works with some of my fellow students that we are going to co-host.

Hosting my own giveaway event should make my list swell up considerably. What I have found is that now that I actually have a list of sorts, I have an asset that I can use as levereage to add even more subscribers to my list. I use my list to send traffic to other people and get paid for it.

Now I can actually get paid cash, (already had a couple offers) but I would rather get paid in subscribers. What I am talking about is ad swaps. This is where I send your email to my list and you send my email to your list. Very simple, but very effective. This is something that you don't here the guru's talk about much but it is going on in the background all the time.

When I was at Alex's workshop in Vegas, I met Jit Uppal and Lance Tamashiro. Both of them were telling me about how they were having great success using ad awaps to build there list. They told me about a site called IMadswaps where you can find other internet marketers who are looking for ad swap partners.

This is a great way to diversify your list building strategy and to meet other Internet marketers. Making contact and doing a successful ad swap can open the door to many other joint venture partnership possibilities.

One thing I have seen is that the internet marketers, that are making big paydays, are doing it with traffic from JV partners. They are not submitting articles, using traffic exchanges, safelists, press relaeases and social media. Ok, well they are in the pre launch phases to cause a buzz but the server crushing traffic on launch day is coming from joint venture partners mailing to their lists.

That is why you keep hearing over and over and over again, "the money is in the list". My mentor Alex Jeffreys told me that if I only had one thing that I must do, it is build a list. List building takes precedent over all the other things in my online business right now.

Your email list is not only your greatest asset, it is the same as having currency that you can leverage with other Internet marketers. Another thing that Alex told me, "look for ways to leverage everything you do".

So if you aren't building your list yet, then get off your ass and start doing it now! If you don't know how, download my ebook, read it and start using JV Giveaways. That is by far the easiest way for a beginner to start building your list. Once you have a list of a couple hundred, you can start doing adswaps with other people and your list will grow even faster.

If you have any questions please leave a comment and I will respond. I would love to hear your thoughts on this subject and I am always open to new ideas. If you leave a comment I will respond within a day so be patient. I don't do this full time yet so I am at work 8 hoursĀ  a day.

It was such a beautiful day here in West Palm Beach this past Sunday, I blew off all plans of working on my online business and spent the day out with the family. We spent most of the day at the park and had a cook out.

Then we went to the mall and did some window shopping. The Christmas season is in full swing here in the USA. People are putting up Christmas Lights and decorations and Santa is in all the malls taking pictures with the kids. It reminded me that this is no only the traditional time of year for giving, but it is also the time of year for JV Giveaways.

If you have read Alex Jeffreys ebook, "List Building With Alex", you already know that the fast track to building a mailing list is by using JV Giveaways. If you haven't read the ebook click on the link to get it for free, read it, and then come back here.

I have participated in JV Giveaways before and is how I aquired most of my current subscribers. The system that we just set up in Module 2 of Alex Jeffrey's coaching program is exactly the kind of thing you need to participate as a JV partner in a Giveaway event.

I just finished updating my website that lists all of the upcoming JV Events with links for you to join as contributors. You can also sign up to be notified via email when ever a new event comes up. This can save you a lot of time searching for giveaways. I am also working on a video that will show you how a JV Giveaway event works, what you need to participate, and how to set up your gift.

Hopefully I will have it ready by Thursday. I will be busy with class and implementing Module 3 tonight. ( I am pumped! ) If you didn't have any problems with module 2, then go to http://www.jtmartin.net/recommends/giveaways and start building your list.

To all of my classmates: "See you tonight on the webinar"

Yesterday I got my "profit pulling platform" and "list building machine" in place. This morning I got up at 3AM and send out a broadcast to my meager email list giving away copies of List Building With Alex. I then did my Yoga workout, got the kids off to school and went to work.

I spent my lunch break sending out promotions to a hand full of safelists. I added my squeeze page to my Pageswirl rotator, gave it priority, and surfed some traffic exchanges for about a half an hour.

When I got home from work this evening I checked my email and low and behold I had a $47 payment into my Paypal account. I logged into my Aweber account and I have 16 new subscribers to the new list I started for the List Building With Alex promotion.More on 16 Subscribers And 1 Sale!

Last night was module 2 of Alex Jeffreys coaching program although I started working on it at lunch time. I went to the members area when I was on my lunch break and saw that the links to our "profit pulling platform" were live. I immediately downloaded everything and got started.

Alex has provided us with an ebook that we can give away for free to help us build a list. (you can get a copy for yourself by clicking on the picture in the right hand column) He also gave us a ready made squeeze page, a download page, and an awesome product to use as an upsell.

There were step by step video instructions on how to set up every aspect of this system starting with getting a domain name, and including things like setting up your auto responder, setting up your paypal buttons, and uploading your files to the server.

If I was a complete newbie, I am sure that I could have gone through the whole process with out a hitch. My hats off to you Alex for a job well done. Seeing as how I have done this on quite a few occasions with PLR products, I breezed right through it and had my list building system in place within an hour.More on Let The List Building Begin
