Internet Marketing Basics
This will be a good jumping off point if you are a complete newbie. I am going to focus on the basics of internet marketing. Things like registering a domain name, setting your name servers, and setting up a blog. I am going to be hosting a series of free webinars in 2011 and this will be where I post the recordings.
Some of the future topics I plan will be touching base on:
- registering domain names
- setting name servers
- using cpanel
- setting up a blog
- setting up a data base
- setting up an auto responder
- basic html
- using plugins
- RSS feeds
I will also being taking the occasional poll to see what you want to learn about. The topics listed are just a starting point and are not listed in any particular order. I was just brain storming a little.
Hopefully this will become a useful resource for you that you can turn to when you get "stuck" and have questions. I will be adding content all through the year on a regular basis so make sure you bookmark this page if you are a newbie.
Get a free report about all of the free tools that Google has for webmasters and internet marketers. Some pretty interesting stuff.
Here is the recording of a webinar I did where I show you how to make a Paypal button, protect it from thieves, and how to protect your other affiliate links as well. It is very important that you learn how to do this because people are out there stealing your commissions and your products.

JT …
I left a comment after following the link re the first two webinars. This is my first visit to your site. There's lots here to glean … but I still need the Basics. The list you reference above IS EXACTLY WHAT I'D LOVE TO SEE YOU COVER. I've not begun to connect all the IM dots … so my questions still have "after-birth" on them … the stuff of Newbies!
I'm looking forward to the Thursday webinar. However, I won't be able to make the Saturday session … am delighted I'll have access to the recording. Many Thanks!
@Orbit63:
I will cover all of those topics over time and will be adding some tutorial videos as well. Glad to be able to help out.
