Local Marketing

2

Local marketing is all about helping businesses in your area with their online marketing. Even today, only half of local businesses have a website and most of them are terrible as far as SEO and lead generation are concerned.

If you have been doing any kind of Internet marketing for even a short amount of time, you know waaaaaaay more then the average business owner. The companies that do have well optimized websites that produce are paying thousands of dollars a month to make it happen.

The businesses that are not going online are getting left behind. Google is the new Yellow Pages. The only thing the old printed yellow pages are good for is to use as a "spy guide" to see what companies in your area are already forking out big bucks for advertising.

They already have advertising budgets in place and when done properly, it is easy to convince them to start giving *you* that money instead. Once you show them how easy it is to track results on the web, plus the fact that ads can be tweaked and changed in a few minutes, they will be eating out of your hand.

I have started my own local marketing business here in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and I will be making a lot of posts in the near future about what I am doing and what strategies are working best for me. This is one of those upcoming trends that I have been talking about.

Along with mobile, which is where local is going, there is an incredible opportunity to position yourself to monetize this trend as businesses make the switch from traditional to online marketing. Bookmark this page because there is some killer stuff coming up.

Hi JT…
It's good to read your article about the local marketing niche concept. I agree with your directions on entering this promising market niche too…

Long before the internet, I was in the thick of all kinds of advertising and marketing methods and medias…yellow pages being just one small slice of medias available…but certainly the most popular response from business owners as to how people would find their business.

The Yellow Pages are definitely on their death bed in major cities and metroplexes around the USA…in smaller rural, incorporated and the unincorporated communities…you'll find strong loyalty to Yellow Pages.

These areas are underserved or absent any high speed cable let alone wireless services like the larger areas. However, it won't be long before even these seemingly small communities will be online so to speak.

As far as my consulting, coaching and sales efforts in the business, well I was online in the 90's and ahead of the curve by at least 10 years now. I was already developing a offline presence against sales people for the Yellow Pages and their likes..I encountered a major resistance back then.

Today, many of those same idiots who called the Internet a passing thing have come to their senses and knocking on my door…telling me they can't find anyone to help them get online or they were burned…LMAO…

I've always kept my methods to myself…being very greedy and keeping out the possibility of competitors popping up … and I'm glad I did because it gave me almost exclusive niche security and also kept out the scammers from promoting the Internet Methods with their garbage fast buck lines.

If there is anything I can do to help you educate your subscribers…while making certain that the integrity of this offline niche market can be served with honest integrity…I'm there for you…

I'm all for helping those with integrity and honest intentions, especially to educate those business people who are in need with quality information to make educated and informed decisions…

I'll leave this for you and any readers of this post…if you really want to generate strong word of mouth for yourself as an offline Internet Marketer take each client slowly and only give them a starter package…an online presence to start…most business owners can't possibly absorb the mass content or knowledgebase of what Internet marketing is all about…they
have to be spoon fed one nibble, byte and bit at a time…just make sure whatever it is you provide you back up with million dollar customer service.

Establishing yourself as an expert will be easy…like JT said…if you have a little bit of Internet Marketing experience…you are waaaaaaay ahead of the offline market niche….

Be the best…
