Wow, I can't believe that it has been over 3 months since I made a *real* post in here. If you are one of my regular readers, I must apologize. I have way to many irons in the fire and had to push my blog on to the back burner for a while.

My wife has started school and is going after her massage license as well as the legal documents you need in Florida to run all those fancy lasers that make women look young again. I wanted to turn her into an Internet marketer but her dream is to own and operate a health spa.

So who am I to stand in her way. All I can do is help any way that I can. That is one of the reasons I have been so strapped for time lately, but I should have everything worked out now.

I have hired a VA and that has made a HUGE difference. I now have someone to take care of the day to day stuff that took up a large percentage of my time. I can now work on some of my pet projects that I have been neglecting.

Here is what I have been doing and what is coming up in the very near future. I have continued to do adswaps and my list is now at 10,000 subscribers. I am awaiting the graphics for my new list building site which I will be launching within the next month or so.

I bought into Gary Ambrose's Memberspring promotion a couple months back and now have 6 operational memership sites. I am going to do a post about them and the pros and cons of Gary's system in the near future.

I have taken on some offline clients that I am doing SEO and some online marketing for. This has proven to be pretty time consuming but looks like it will be vehicle that will allow me to leave my current job and do this full time.

I am in the process of setting up a corporation and a website to go with it. So far my clients have come from referrals but once my site is up and I get it ranked well in Google, I will start aggressively looking for new clients.

Up until now, I have not been leveraging social media like I should be. I do have a large following on Twitter but I have only made a handful of YouTube videos and almost never used Facebook.

Well that is all about to change. Facebook has become a leviathan and now gets more traffic than the big G itself. (Google) I cannot ignore this any longer. I have started to do some testing with Facebook ads and have created a fan page for my Local Marketing business.

I am going to make a series of posts here and try and cover all aspects of using Facebook to brand yourself, drive traffic, and make money. I invite you to join me here so you can benefit from my case studies.

But first I have some unfinished business that I started and kind of left everyone hanging. I had a couple of my friends ask me about it and it made me realize how I long it has been and how I have been neglecting this blog.

Back in May, I made a blog post about how I made just under $5000 with my promotion for Alex Jeffreys coaching program. I gave a general run down of what I did and then talked about how I was going to create a product with all the juicy details.

I did start that project but never finished it. I had 2 different people ask me about it within the past week. Both had said they were looking forward to reading it. So, I decided that I am going to get off my butt and finish it.

So that is my goal for this up coming week. I'll make a post about it here and give you a link to my WSO. Yes, I am going to make it a Warrior Special Offer because I have never done one and I heard they can be very effective.

OK, enough for now. I have to get back to work. Tomorrow is golf all morning and then family fun. T0day is a work day for me. I will definitely be posting more this week so stay tuned.

JV giveaways are springing up right and left. I have added at least 6 to my JV giveaway directory in the last week. There are so many giveaways going on in the next couple weeks that I have decided to delay the giveaway that I am going to host.

I was going to do a Flag Day giveaway that would start on the 14th but have changed it to a Declaration of Independence Giveaway that will run around the 4th of July. But that's not what this post is about.

I know that a lot of you are just starting out with your list building and using giveaways. When you have limited resources and have a small list or no list at all, it can be a daunting proposition when you have to promote the giveaways you have joined.

For some of you, it may be a daunting task just to set up your gift in a giveaway. For those of you that need help, look in the side bar to the right in the "categories" drop down box and click on "How To Videos". There are a couple videos that will help you out.

When deciding which giveaways to promote, there a few things you should take into consideration:

  1. Commission percentage – should be 75% or more for an upgraded contributor. This is a big one! I see some giveaways that are designed to make the host a lot of money. The contributors come second. If you are going to upgrade, you want to get the highest commissions possible on your referrals as well as you "special offers". This makes it easy to recoup the cost of upgrading.
  2. Referral contest – not everyone can afford to pay out a lot of prize money, but mailings to the list can be offered. There are a lot of giveaways out there. Spend your efforts where they will best be rewarded.
  3. Who is hosting the event. Well known marketers are most likely going to have more people promoting that can drive a lot of traffic to the event. More traffic means more potential sign ups and sales. Not to say that newbies can't run a good giveaway. There are ways to attract the big contributors. (See bullets #1 and #2)
  4. Cost of upgrade. Be careful here. I usually upgrade, but I am almost always certain that I will make enough referral and special offer sales to offset the cost of upgrading. Some giveaways have pretty pricey upgrades. Pass these up if you can't afford it as most will have a down sell that is more affordable.

So I have decided to make some changes at my directory. Over the next couple days I'll be adding a more detailed description of each giveaway so you will know which ones are paying out decent commissions and are running referral contests.

Until then, here are some upcoming Giveaways that you will want to make sure you are signed up as a contributor:

  • World Cup Giveaway 2010 – paying out $1000 in referral cash for the top 5 promoters. Paying 75% commissions for a $27 upgrade. Runs June 11th – 25th. Already some big names on board. I highly recommend this one.
  • title="World Cup Giveaway" href="http://worldcupjv.com/contributor.php?id=82" target="_blank">World Cup Giveaway – paying out $900 in referral cash for the top 5 promoters. Only paying 60% for top upgrade which is $97 (ouch) and 40% for lower upgrades. There will be some good traffic to this one but I wouldn't upgrade unless you feel you can make it back. (This giveaway script is set up to make the host a lot of money.)
  • The Summer Giveaway – paying out $350 in referral cash plus mailings and PLR products. Paying 75% on special offers and 50% on upgrades. This should be a pretty good one.
  • Independence Day Giveaway – paying out $300 in cash for the top 5 promoters. Commissions are only 25% on special offers and on upgrades. You get an extra 25% if you referred the person that upgrades. This is an example of a giveaway you might want to avoid unless you think you have a shot at the referral prize. The top prize is $150 but I have say that the host of this giveaway includes himself in the running for the prizes. In most cases he also wins. Is that a crock of BS or what?

I included the last one in hopes that someone with a big list will slip into that giveaway and take the first prize money.

I hope this helps you make some smart decisions with your giveaway marketing. Stay tuned for another post in a few days about how to promote your giveaway links when you don't have a list.

Don't buy Turbo Traffic System until you look at this! Once again, I have outdone myself and created the perfect bonus to compliment Adam and Dean's new traffic training. I know that the launch is today, but Turbo Traffic System has actually been around for about 6 months now.

Dean and Adam have been refining the system and making sure that it is producing stellar results before taking it "public" and offering it to the masses. I know Adam and Dean personally so I have already been through the system and know it inside and out.

That is what makes me qualified to put this killer bonus together. It has nothing to do with giving away products. I am giving away something much more valuable than that. I am giving you my time, my experience, and my knowledge! How can you put a price on that?

If you interested in joining Turbo Traffic System, then you want to make sure you check out my bonus. If your going to buy it, you might as well get the best Turbo Traffic System bonus available. All you have to do is click on the link below:

Turbo Traffic System Bonus

I have to limit this because it is going to require a lot of time an effort on my part. So, make sure you are one of the first 10 people to take advantage of this generous offer.

Don't buy Bloopio until you have checked out my Bloopio bonus! I have put together the perfect bonus that will compliment the software and make it absolutely easy peasy to get your very own Bloopio site up and running in a hurry.

I talked about my Bloopio site, One Day Super Sale, in my last post. I took special care to make note of everything that slowed me down or kept me from getting my site up quickly. These "road blocks", while minor and insignificant to a veteran marketer, may give the newbie some problems.

Solving these problems is only going to be a part of my bonus. I am also going to include some training so that you can fully take advantage of the functionality of your Bloopio software and build your business as well.

Bloopio has features that will let you build your list and make money with multiple streams of income. I will help you get these things into place and working smoothly. For a full explanation of my bonus and details on how to claim yours, go to my Bloopio Bonus Blog.

I am only going to offer 10 or these bonuses because they will be quite time consuming and I want to be able to give everyone the attention they need. If you are interested, I would not put it off because the 10 spots are going to go fast.
