It's almost 2am but I have finally finished updating my JV giveaway directory. I had to redo 2 weeks worth of work plus add all of the new ones that have popped up in the last few days. I still can't believe how many giveaways are taking place in the next few weeks.
I haven't even set a date for mine yet. I was going to try and pick a date when there wouldn't be a lot of other competing giveaways but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I will just have to come up with a way to make mine stand out.
The impact of Jason James Giveaway Riches is evident. He did a fantastic job explaining the ins and outs of running your own JV Giveaway. I know that I am using it as my guide and the fact that so many giveaways are springing up just after his launch is a testimonial to how good the product is.
Not only has he created a easy to follow step by step guide but he has obviously motivated a lot of people to take action. My hat goes off to him for creating an awesome product. I can't wait to get my giveaway off the ground.
My partners and I have been working hard although I have been working on getting other things straightened out. I am glad that I joined up with Garry Parkes, Gary Simpson, and Carl Barton. It would be really tough for me to go it alone this first time around.
Meeting these fellows has been another huge benefit of joining Alex Jeffreys coaching program. Well I'm dead tired so I am calling it a nite. I am going to crawl into bed and snuggle up with the wife. I've got to get up early and get some people set up and on their way to building a list with giveaway events.

It's only a matter of time now. I should be finished with the ebook tonight. All I have to do is make sure that I have all of the back end components in place and that all the links work and go where they are supposed to go. Then I will make a couple test runs to double check that the system runs smoothly and like I planned.
For those that are wondering, it's not just about creating the ebook. While I am giving the ebook away for free, my goal is to make about $500 within the first 30 days that the ebook is live. This will happen through various affiliate links that are in the ebook and from back end offers that will be presented to my subscribers via my auto responder.
That is how the "big dogs" build their lists and get payed to do it. My mentor, Alex Jeffreys, has taught me that if you provide as much value as you can and give away the farm for free, your subscribers will be begging you to buy something from you later down the road.
Well I am about to put that theory to the test. I have been using the strategies Alex presents in his free ebook, "List Building With Alex", and I have added almost 500 subscribers to my email list. These are verified subscribers. If I include every lead I generated the number is over 700.
I have been participating in JV Giveaways and PLR products to achieve these results. My ebook is designed to help me leverage the JV Giveaways to produce even more subscribers per event and will be the lead in to my next project. Some time in the very near future, I am going to host my own JV Giveaway event.
Now I have been thinking of a way that I could include some of my fellow students as partners in this event. There will of course have to be some basic requirements that will have to be met. One will be your own original product that will have a permanent place on the first page of gifts.
I was thinking that I could have a script that would rotate the various partners opt in forms on the sign up page. That way the major partners will all get to add thousands of subscribers to their list. I just finished reading Jason James free report for his new Giveaway Riches product.
He talks about his 3 "Greedy Giveaway" events that he hosted and how he averaged over 11,000 new subscribers per event. He then goes on to say how those results are nothing compared to some of the events run by Henry Gold where he added over 28,000 subscribers in 2 weeks time.
There is also money to made from the one time offers and the upgrades that could be split amongst the partners. Jason said he averaged about $5000 per event. That's not exactly chump change although the real value is in the subscribers.
I am probalby looking for no more than 3 or 4 partners. We will share in the cost of the software to run the JV which is about $300. I have a hosting plan that has unlimited bandwidth, server space, domains, and everything so that is covered. I have placed a support ticket to make sure that the server I am on can handle that kind of traffic.
The partners will have to share in the duties of running the support desk and possibly any expenses that might be incurred if the services of a programmer are required. I think I can handle setting up the script, but you never know. There will also be the cost of the website graphics and some promotional banners which will be another $200 – $300.
We will also need to put together some promotional emails. I think the partners can probably handle this on their own. We will decide on whether we buy any advertising as we go. It depends on what kind of JV partners we have as we approach launch day.
I am totally open to suggestions. If anyone has any ideas or you are seriously interested in being a partner then leave a comment.
